Against the backdrop of the deepening "Belt and Road" initiative, Jiangxi TV's feature team visited the China NZ Cultural Exchange Centre (Auckland, New Zealand) to document its two-decade journey and achievements as a bridge of China–New Zealand education and cultural exchange, showcasing how a non-governmental organisation serves the national initiative and connects the hearts of the two peoples.
From study-abroad services to a cultural bridge
Since its founding in Auckland in 1999, the Centre has grown from a single offer of admission into a full-service platform spanning study, career, living and immigration, while continuously organising cultural exchanges, study tours and sister-school cooperation. The feature focused on how the Centre turns "education" into a vehicle for "people-to-people bonds".
Letting Jiangxi's story reach the Southern Hemisphere
As a cultural institution with deep Jiangxi roots, the Centre has repeatedly brought Jiangxi's cultural brands, institutions and education programmes to New Zealand, while letting New Zealand's education resources give back to Jiangxi students. This two-way commitment is a true grassroots footnote to the "Belt and Road" education action.
